These Higher Profit Business Forms |
| |
| Cross-glued
forms provide your customers with efficient business systems, and
cross-gluing adds value to the forms you produce. Many form sizes
can be produced to give your customers the variety the they need.
Here are some of the forms you can add to your product line: |
| |

Return Mailers: Return envelopes become a part of invoices and
statements and encourage prompt response. Computer printed account
numbers on the envelope speed reconciliation when payments are received. |

Pocket Forms: Work order jackets, expense vouchers, etc. are computer
printed, then are used to store tickets, requisitions, notes, and
receipts. |

Side Opening Envelopes: Continuos envelopes can be computer addressed
for mailings. Side opening envelope plies can be added to the form
for the return of information or payment |

Notice and Response Mailers: Examples include subscription renewals,
fundraising solicitations, and promotional offers. A return stub is
removed at a perforation and mailed in the return envelope. |

Peel Apart mailers: Office copy, addressed envelope, and hidden-entry
inside ply are computer printed simultaneously. The forms are immediately
ready for mailing. The recipient tears off the stub and peels back
the top ply to reveal the message. A return envelope can be included
inside the mailer. These popular mailers are used for notices, grade
reports, statements, invoices, and promotional advertising. |

Simple
Fountain Adjustment
The doctor blade adjusts quickly for
accurate glue regulation. The blade is plastic and won't scratch the
cylinder. Teflon-impregnated fountain cylinder and glue pans make
clean-up easy.

|
|
Accurate
Impression Adjustment
Proper impression
adjustment is essential for printing high quality glue lines. One
knob adjusts plate to paper. One adjustment does not alter the other,
and cylinders remain parallel. Correct settings are locked with
a simple thumbnut.
|
| |
Easy
Registration Adjustment
Plate cylinders adjust side to side without loss of vertical setting.
Vertical compensation by a hand knob provides continuos fine adjustment
in either direction to place the glue pattern right where you want
it.

|
| Optional
Circulating Glue System |
| |
As
an option to adding glue manually, glue can be pumped into the pan
with a circulating glue system. The pump system saves operator time;
while the job is running, the glue fountain is maintained automatically,
avoiding the need to refill the pan. |
| |
The
complete glue system, suitable for most glues, includes an air-driven
diaphragm pump with regulator, air supply hose, supply and drain hoses,
and 5-gallon buckets - ready for production. |

Cylinders Available For All Form Lengths |

Slotted
or Scribed for Fast Set-Up
The plate cylinder is slotted or scribed to receive stock rubber strips
that print the glue pattern across the web. The rubber strips replace
custom molded rubber plates; the strips are simply cut to length and
fastened with their adhesive backing.
Slotted cylinders are recommended for most jobs. The slots provide
a flat surface to mount the rubber strips, space them accurately around,
and straight across the cylinder.
Scribed cylinders have lines scribed across the cylinder and also
every 1/2 inch around to form a grid-like pattern for the placement
of rubber strips. Scribed cylinders are recommended when 'u-shaped"
or other special patterns will regularly be printed. |
| |
Wide
Range of Circumference Sizes Available
The plate cylinder assembly can be changed to provide standard or
special form lengths. 7 to 22 inch circumference cylinders are slotted
or scribed for multiple repeats. For example, 11 inch cylinders provide
glue pattern repeats every 3-2/3, 5-1/2, and 11 inches.
Smaller circumference sizes - such as 8-1/2 or 11 inch - are recommended;
these smaller circumference sizes save plate cost and operator time
because there are fewer patterns to set up around the cylinder. The
larger circumference sizes - such as 17 and 22 inch - do offer the
advantage of all repeat combinations being available from one cylinder.
For example a 22 inch circumference cylinder will provide 3-2/3, 5-1/2,
7-1/3, and 22 inch repeats.
Plate cylinder assemblies are available for every form size. |

features which reduce running speed. |
