Mailer Die Cut Unit ![]() The Tamarack Mailer Die Cut Unit is installed on a mailer collator to produce free-insert mailers. These mailers provide customers with efficient business systems that reduce processing and handling time. Applications for mailers include invoices, statements, notices, tax forms, confirmations, grade reports, and promotional advertising. Free insert mailers have inside plies cut smaller than the mailer envelope for easy removal. The Tamarack die cut unit cuts out a chip, usually 3/4" wide, at each mailer form length. Each chip is held to the die cut cylinder by vacuum, rotated to the top of the unit, and released into a trim collection exhaust. The die cut units are available for all form lengths and are manufactured for reliable, long-lived operation. Units with
die cut cylinders from 17 through 28 inch circumference for all form lengths. Each unit die cuts multiple form sizes. Example:24 inch cylinder makes 4, 6, 8, 12, and 24 inch mailers. Standard chip size is 3/4. Other available chip sizes are 1/2, 2/3, 5/6, 1 inch and wider. Die cut blades are standard cutting rules 2 or 3 point wide x .937 inch high. (17 and 18 inch circumference units use cutting rules .750 inch high.) Mounting, drive, and set-up similar to collator cross perf unit. |
